Learn moreMostly the Front Range. The State Demography Office puts 84% of Colorado’s population in the Front Range region as of 2020, and that region holds every major metro except Grand Junction. Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Boulder, and Pueblo are where most searches happen, and where the most communities compete for them.
Mountain and rural towns are a different market. The Western Slope, the San Luis Valley, and the Eastern Plains have fewer communities and fewer searches, but each search is worth more because there are so few options nearby. A home in a town of 8,000 can own that town’s searches outright. One of our clients, a four-home group in rural Colorado, now ranks first on Google for its name in every town it serves.
Two kinds of searches bring in tours. The first is “assisted living near me,” which Google answers with the map pack, so your Google Business Profile decides whether you show up. The second is the town name: “assisted living Fort Collins,” “assisted living in Montrose.” Those are won with a page on your site built for that exact phrase, which is the core of our SEO and AI search work.
Families also ask money questions. Colorado has a Medicaid path for assisted living, and families search for it. We built a Colorado Medicaid payment guide for one client that ranks on page 1 of Google and brings in families other communities never see.
National chains and the big referral services bid on Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Boulder, Grand Junction, and Pueblo searches every day. They have larger ad budgets than an independent community, and a referral service can send the same family to several communities, not only yours.
You do not beat them by outspending them. You beat them on the searches they cannot buy: the map pack, your town’s name, and the long questions families ask before they call. Our paid ads fill the gaps where it pays to bid, and our assisted living marketing approach does the rest.
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment licenses assisted living residences. Under Colorado law, nobody may operate one without a license from the department. CDPHE defines an assisted living residence as a residential facility that provides room and board plus personal services, protective oversight, social care, and 24-hour supervision to three or more unrelated adults, without the level of 24-hour medical or nursing care a nursing home provides.
This matters for marketing. Families in Colorado can look up any residence’s license and inspection history on CDPHE’s Find and Compare Facilities tool, and they can check it before they call. Your website, your Google profile, and your ads should use the terms the state uses, show the license plainly, and give families nothing to doubt.
Yes, and it is local. Colorado had about 984,000 residents aged 65 and older in 2024, up almost 30,000 in one year. That group grew 3.1% while the state grew 1.0%, and it made up 53% of all growth in the state. The State Demography Office projects the 65-and-older population to grow about 31% between 2020 and 2030, with the fastest growth among people 75 to 85.
The same office notes that this growth comes from Coloradans aging into the group, not from retirees moving in. The families who will call you already live here. Their adult children are in Denver, Aurora, Lakewood, Colorado Springs, or Fort Collins, usually searching on a phone. Our lead handling team answers them the same day.
No. Denver is our headquarters. We work with communities across Colorado and in every US state. Everything we do runs remotely, so where you are does not change how we work. See about us.
Yes. Some of our best results are in rural Colorado. A four-home group there went from an average Google position of 15.4 to 9.9 in four months and now ranks first for its name in every town it serves. Small towns have fewer competitors, so a well-built site and Google profile can own the local searches.
Yes. We work with single communities and with operators running several buildings. For a group, every home gets its own pages and Google profile, and one team handles the leads for all of them. See senior living groups.
A 20-minute call. Before it, we look at how your community shows up for the searches families in your town actually make, check your Google Business Profile, and review your website and any ads. On the call we show you the gaps and what we would change. Start on the contact page.
Google Ads can bring in inquiries within the first weeks. SEO takes longer. Our Colorado results came in three to four months: one community reached #1 for “assisted living” plus its town in three months, and the rural group moved from page 2 to page 1 in four. We work in 6-month partnerships.
All six: websites, paid ads, SEO and AI search, Google Business Profile, lead handling, and analytics. They are built to work as one system.
