Learn moreThe CDC’s 2020 National Post-acute and Long-term Care Study estimated about 1,370 residential care communities in Texas with roughly 61,200 licensed beds, third in the country by capacity. Most of that is spread across several large metros, and each one is its own market with its own competitors.
That is why one statewide campaign rarely works. We build pages and ads around your metro and your town, and a Google Business Profile that wins the map results for “assisted living near me.”
The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) licenses assisted living facilities under Health and Safety Code Chapter 247 and Texas Administrative Code Title 26, Chapter 553. HHSC licenses a facility as Type A or Type B based on residents’ ability to leave in an emergency and whether they need attendance at night. A Type B facility serves residents who need staff help to evacuate and need nighttime attendance.
Families and discharge planners use these terms. If you are licensed Type B, or hold the state’s Alzheimer’s certification, say it clearly on your website and in your ads. Families can look up facilities on HHSC’s Long-term Care Provider Search before they call.
It can, through the STAR+PLUS Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) program, sometimes called the STAR+PLUS waiver. Members must need a nursing-facility level of care, and the assisted living facility must be licensed by HHSC and contracted with the member’s managed care organization. Members pay their own room and board.
If your community contracts with STAR+PLUS plans, families want to know. A clear page about it, and a team that answers those calls the same day, brings in residents other communities turn away. See lead handling.
Yes. Everything we do runs remotely: the website, ads, SEO, Google Business Profile, and the calls to families. See how it works.
Usually, yes. Type B communities serve residents who need more help, so the families and referral sources looking for them search differently. We build pages and ads for that care level using HHSC’s terms.
Yes. Every home gets its own pages and Google profile, and one team handles the leads for all of them. See senior living groups.
We don’t promise a specific number of leads, tours, rankings, or move-ins. We report honestly on every lead, tour, and move-in.
